About Your Private Tour

Your tour guide will pick you up at the airport or at your hotel, or meet you at the specified battlefield, He will review the historical events leading up to each battle, set the stage, naming the units and leaders who fought there.

As you drive through the Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia countryside, you will have time to reflect on this tragic war that shaped our American nation and discuss the event of those years. As you walk these hallowed grounds, you will almost hear the sound of horses' hoofs, rifle and cannon fire, and the cheers, yells and screams of the Blue and the Gray. At the end of the day, you will have a more vivid understanding of the Great Conflict, whether you are a casual visitor or an experienced Civil War buff.

We will do our best to make every effort to meet your special needs and will upon request, provide for a midday bivouac to enjoy a Southern-style picnic lunch.
